Francis Sanderson Joins As S&C Coach
Former Cornish Pirates and Northampton Saints Coach, Francis Sanderson, has joined Newquay Storm!
Newquay Storm is delighted to welcome Francis Sanderson as Strength and Conditioning Coach for the 2025/26 season.
Francis, who formerly was S&C Coach with the Cornish Pirates and Northampton Saints Rugby Squads, will be working with the club for the pre-season period and then continuing his involvement throughout the season.
“We’re thrilled that Francis has come to work with us this season,” said Head Coach David White. “I’ve worked with Francis before and I know he’ll be brilliant in preparing the girls’ fitness for the new season and as we continue throughout the year.”
This is season Newquay Storm makes their debut in South West Regional League 2 after a thrilling end to the Regional League 3 season.
Francis, who runs his own fitness and strength company is pleased to be involved.
“I’m delighted to be working with Newquay Storm this season,” said Sanderson.”They’ve shown dedication and pushed their abilities to gain promotion to Regional League 2.
“David is a pleasure to coach with as he has a clear vision, making program writing a pleasure. I’m excited to get started for the pre-season to make sure the team is flying for September.”
Newquay Storm’s Regional League team has begun pre-season training and is preparing for their debut in Regional 2 which is at home to Galmington on Saturday 13th September.
