Newquay Storm First Team Gets a Big Surprise As They Discover They’ve Been Promoted To Regional League 2!
Newquay Storm's End of Season Party turned into a proper celebration with the announcement that the First Team had actually been promoted to Regional League 2 after thinking they hadn’t qualified the weekend before!
A phone call from Netball South West on Thursday evening explained the situation but the players didn’t find out until it was revealed at the Party during the Season Recap Presentation!

“It was hell trying to keep that quiet for a day and half,” said Head Coach David White. “Only me and Sadie knew at the club but it was worth it to see the pure confusion at first which was followed by joy then elation then tears of joy then celebration!”
That was only one moment of a lovely night with members from across the club from Minis through to the First Team all partying together.
