Thirds Finish Season In Top 3!
Newquay Stormβs 3rd team finished their season with a win at home in Cornwall Division 3.
Newquay Storm did the double over Steelers Stripes with a hard fought 44-40 win at Friday Night Netball to wrap up an excellent season.
The points mean Storm leapfrogged CSM into third place in the league, narrowly missing out on Promotion as itβs the top two that go up.
The 3rd place finish is a marked improvement on last season when the side just avoided relegation finishing 3rd from bottom.
Some personnel changes and more importantly a change in team spirit and attitude has led to a great season with a very credible final position.
βItβs been great working with these players this season,β said Head Coach David White. βTheyβve really been focused this year and the addition of Bella and Sennen in the shooting circle has been a real bonus, but to be honest all over court everyoneβs been improving throughout the season.β
